      1. Labour Market Partnerships (LMP) Grant Program – FREE informational webinar on May 15 at 1:30 PM (Register HERE)

      2. SmartMTX – Smart Manufacturing Technology Exposition in Red Deer, May 15 & 16 (see attached posters)

      3. Creating Connections – May 15, Noon – 3 PM
         
        Hosted by Co-operatives First, this FREE online workshop is designed for economic and business development professionals and explores how Co-ops can support community or regional economic development strategies.

      4. Government of Alberta - Alberta Export and Expansion Program: Now Open
         
        Funding to help export-ready companies and non-profit organizations enhance access to international markets and attract global buyers.

      5. Municipal Dashboards: provincial and community data, as well as municipal and financial indicators that are updated daily.

      6. 2024 Central Alberta Business Summit – June 5th at Red Deer Polytechnic
        This full day conference is hosted by the Red Deer District Chamber. Attendees can expect to gain valuable insights into harnessing AI technologies to drive innovation and gain a competitive advantage in today’s rapidly evolving business landscape. Register HERE

      8. Business & Blue Jeans – June 12 in Camrose County
         
        Hosted by Central Alberta Economic Partnership, Camrose County and Cherry Lane, this event features great learning about current and future economic development projects in the County, fantastic networking opportunities and a tour of one of the most technologically advanced dairy farms in Western Canada.         - Wildfire Business Interruption (BI) Insurance 
        BI coverage is typically an add-on to an existing business property insurance policy. In the event of a business temporarily needing to shut down, BI covers continuing expenses or replaces lost

      11. Rural Community Health Provider Attraction & Retention Conference – October 8-10 in Wainwright
