      1. Community Development Grants: Applications Open from June 10 – July 12
         Two funding streams – program support and operational support, to help organizations that provide programming for youth between 4 – 18 who are in financial need or youth with disabilities, ages 4-25.

      3. Cooperative Housing Development Program 
         
        Applications will be open from July 15 to Sept 15. Learn more and sign up for an online info session on June 26 or 27 HERE
      4. Major Sport Event Grant Program: Applications Now Open Until July 15
      5. Local Leadership for Climate Adaptation
         
        Offered through a partnership between the Federation of Canadian Municipalities Green Municipal Fund a\n d the Government of Canada, the funding programs available aim to empower municipalities to design and implement climate resilience projects and enhance capacity to meet community needs.
      6. Federal Economic Immigration Pilot Programs: Application Deadline is July 2
      7. Innovative Uses of the Co-op Model and Rural Economic Development Opportunities in Alberta and Beyond
         
        A report prepared by the Alberta Centre for Sustainable Rural Communities.
      8. Canada Greener Affordable Housing Program
         
        Funding for affordable housing providers to complete deep energy retrofits on existing multi-unit residential buildings by providing forgivable and low-interest loans for building retrofit measures and activities to meet climate goals.
      9. News From the Province:
         
        - Alberta’s government is investing $66M to build stronger communities through community grants to non-profit organizations. Read more.
         - Alberta is developing recreation & tourism opportunities on public land by investing $1M in non-motorized trail improvements. Read more.
         - Alberta’s government is investing $30M for sport and recreation facilities that inspire, connect and enrich the lives of Albertans. Read more.
         - Alberta’s government is supporting small business operators through the Alberta Value-Added Wood Products Program. Read more. 
         - Alberta is calling - pursuing skilled tradespeople to help fill critical roles in Alberta’s labour market. Read more. 
         - Alberta’s government is providing rural communities with over $3M to support local projects that drive innovation & growth. Read more.
         - Alberta’s government is providing grants to rural & remote municipalities to support infrastructure & airport projects. Read more. 
        - A joint investment between Alberta and the federal government will connect 14,000 more rural households to high-speed internet. Read more.
